Program Options
Option 1: Purchase a Flag Through Us
You may purchase a flag directly through our Battle Shop (online or in person), and we will take care of the entire process for you.
Option 2: Bring Your Own Flag
You are welcome to provide your own flag to be flown aboard the ship.
• Flags must have two reinforced grommets
• Preferred sizes: 4’ x 6’ or 5’ x 8’
• Flags can be dropped off in person or mailed in (return postage required)

How It Works
1. Select Your Option – Purchase a flag through us or provide your own.
2. Enter Your Email at Checkout – Please ensure your email address is entered correctly. You will receive a required submission form to the email on file.
3. Complete the Form – This form must be filled out with your certificate details and included with your flag if mailing.
4. Send or Drop Off Your Flag – Follow the instructions below for mailing or in-person delivery.
5. Flag is Flown – Your flag will be respectfully flown aboard the Battleship New Jersey. Please allow approximately one week for completion if no specific date is specified.
6. Certificate of Authenticity – You will receive a commemorative certificate documenting the date your flag was flown.
7. Return Delivery – Your flag will be carefully packaged and returned using the prepaid postage you provide.

Fly a Flag Program – Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Battleship New Jersey Fly a Flag Program, you agree to the following:
Flag Requirements & Condition
- Customer-provided flags must have two reinforced grommets and be in flyable condition.
- The Battleship New Jersey reserves the right to decline any flag that is damaged, excessively worn, inappropriate, or unsuitable for display.
- Flags that do not meet requirements may be returned at the customer’s expense or held until a replacement is provided.
Risk of Loss or Damage
- While all flags are handled with care, participation in this program is at the customer’s own risk.
- The Battleship New Jersey is not liable for damage, loss, fading, weather exposure, or normal wear and tear that may occur while the flag is flown or in transit.
- Flags are flown outdoors and may be exposed to wind, rain, sun, and maritime conditions.
Shipping & Return Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and prepaid return postage (if mailing in a flag).
- The Battleship New Jersey is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers.

Flags will not be returned until sufficient return postage is provided.
Processing Time
- Please allow a minimum of one (1) week for your flag to be flown and processed if no date is specified.
- Processing times may vary due to weather conditions, operational needs, holidays, or special events.
Fly Date Requests
- Specific fly dates are not guaranteed unless a priority or scheduled option is explicitly purchased (if applicable).
- The Battleship New Jersey reserves the right to adjust fly dates due to weather, safety, or operational constraints.
Certificate of Authenticity
- A Certificate of Authenticity will be issued based on the information provided by the customer.
- The Battleship New Jersey is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer. Please review all details carefully before submission.
Appropriate Use
- Flags must comply with U.S. Flag Code standards and may not contain offensive, political, commercial, or inappropriate messaging at the discretion of the organization.
- The Battleship New Jersey reserves the right to refuse service for any request that does not align with its mission or values.
Non-Refundable Service
- All Fly a Flag services are non-refundable once the flag has been flown.
- If a flag has not yet been flown, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Program Rights
- The Battleship New Jersey reserves the right to modify, pause, or cancel the program at any time due to operational, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.

By purchasing or participating in this program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
